No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of replacement storefront in two existing masonry openings, and for a new outdoor seating area partly in public space, including the installation of dining furniture, umbrellas, and lighting, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2019 and supplemental materials received and dated 24 October 2019, 4 March 2020, and 10 March 2020, PROVIDED that no surface angles or attachments be used for the installation of the operable storefront, PROVIDED that shop drawings be provided for the storefront, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. This review does not include signs; forward a new submission for signs that comply with the regulations for the Shipstead-Luce Act area when ready. Refer to DC Public Space Committee. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
