No objection to the issuance of a permit for the construction of a replacement attached deck, replacement stairs, and a replacement retaining wall, and for the installation of new site lighting, a new pool cabana, a new pergola, and new and replacement paving in the rear and side yards of an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 3 September 2021 and supplemental materials received and dated 9 September 2021 and 13 September 2021. Staff notes with concern that the submitted drawings appear to show an existing tall masonry wall encroaching on National Park Service property; staff recommends that the applicant obtain a verified, professional survey of the wall and property lines and resolve any encroachments with the National Park Service. If any construction work is required to resolve an encroachment, forward a new submission for that work. Refer to National Park Service. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
