Recommendation
No objection to the concept for alterations to the front and rear facades of two existing connected buildings, including replacement glazed storefront at one building; new and replacement windows, doors, and panels at one building; and new recessed infill brick at existing window openings at the rear facades of both; a new elevator overrun structure; and new mechanical equipment, as shown in materials received and dated 5 May 2023 and supplemental materials received and dated 9 May 2023 and 12 May 2023, pending further consultation on the design of the alterations to the front facades, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: This is a concept approval only. When ready, submit the permit drawings and a permit application to DOB for review by the Commission.
