No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of two non-illuminated replacement wall signs and seven replacement awnings with no signs at an existing building for Wells Fargo, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2024 and supplemental materials received and dated 13 February 2024, pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of one exterior sign proposed to be mounted inside the storefront, which would make the total sign area for the 9th Street, NW, facade exceed that allowed under the sign regulations for the Shipstead-Luce Act area. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
