Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for revisions to a previously approved rear addition to an existing house, including the expansion of the patio, changes to the retaining wall alignment and cladding material, and modifications to the north and west facade fenestration, as shown in materials received and dated 6 July 2026, due to adverse impacts on adjacent trees and to inappropriate character. Recommend consultation with CFA staff. Forward a new submission that avoids all tree roots with a diameter greater than two inches, whether the trees are on the subject property or on an adjacent property.
