Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 20 January 2022

No objection to proposed modifications to the previously approved final design for the renovation and expansion of the Hirshhorn Museum’s Sculpture Garden, as shown in materials received 6 January 2022, which indicate that the central inner partition wall would be clad with pebble-finish concrete to match the historic wall condition, rather than stacked stone as previously approved. No objection to the final design for the replacement of the windows on the historic Old Randle Highlands Elementary School building, as shown in materials received and dated 13 December 2021. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the installation of three sculptural artworks by artist Valerie Theberge in two new rain gardens on both sides of the 800 block of 19th Street, NW, north of Pennsylvania Avenue in the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District, as shown in materials received and dated 29 December 2021, PROVIDED the location of each sculpture is studied to minimize any pedestrian tripping hazard within the sidewalk.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of an array of approximately 4,000 solar electric panels mounted on the turfed roof of the Brentwood Reservoir and on the adjacent southern slope, as shown in materials received and dated 6 January 2022. The project includes the addition of a new metal fence along Brentwood Parkway frontage and additional landscape plantings for stormwater management.

No objection to the final design for modifications to Stead Park Recreation Center, per materials received 11 January 2022, which indicate a reduction in the extent of the stairs and an increase in the planting area along P Street. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to final design for installation of rooftop cellular antennas, per materials received 20 December 2021.
