No objection to the final design to replace the doors and windows at K.C. Lewis Elementary School, located at 300 Bryant Street, NW per materials received on 2 October 2025. This work is being proposed to allow this school building to be used as swing space as other schools are renovated in the city.

No objection to the revised concept design of a new commercial vehicle inspection facility and a restroom building on the Pentagon Reservation adjacent to the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia. Scope of work includes the replacement of the existing vehicle screening facility with a permanent one that incorporates within the building, a control room, administrative spaces, and a kennel while a canopy will cover the vehicles to be inspected. Scope of work includes renovating the interior, creating an accessible main entrance, providing an outdoor classroom, and improving the loading area, while meeting D.C. government sustainability requirements and protecting historic integrity. No objection to final design for repairs to Crook Walk bridge and drainage channels in Section 37, per materials received 6 November 2025. Scope of work includes rebuilding the culvert walls of the Crook Walk bridge, repairing historic brick-lined drainage channel, and in-kind replacement of existing precast concrete drainage channels.

No objection to concept design to renovate Marvin Gaye Playground at 6201 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE, per materials received 31 December 2025. Scope of work includes new playground structures and splash pad features, new seating, trash bins bicycle racks, new pathways, and plantings.

No objection to design development submission for demolition of the existing two-story building and the construction of a new two-story brick recreation center and site improvements, per supplemental materials received 18 September 2025, PROVIDED the entrance canopy dimension is coordinated with the adjacent cast stone elements; the soffit material is copper; landscaping and paving layout and materials are restudied and their extent reduced; bench locations are restudied; additional trees are placed within the parking lot; bollards are restudied to be sufficiently sturdy to protect pedestrians; fencing is vertical wood slats; solar panels do not extend over pool and are arranged in an orthogonal manner with landscaping at their base and supports painted dark green or dark gray; and the material of the mechanical enclosure at the pool is revised to match the adjacent building. File permit submission with detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Commission. This recommendation is made by the Old Georgetown Board of the Commission of Fine Arts and will be presented to the Commission for final adoption at its next meeting. No objection to the revised concept design of a building and landscape improvements for at 1900 Gallaudet Street, NE, per materials received 31 December 2025. Scope of this project will renovated the existing building on site and repurpose it for use as community center with activity rooms, senior lounge, teen lounge, a demonstration kitchen, and support space.
