Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 20 September 2012

No objection to the final design for the proposed United States Monument in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, Korea, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2012. The proposed final design conforms to the recommendations made by the Commission on the concept design.

No objection to the final design for the proposed replacement fence for the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Manila,Taguig City, Philippines, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2012.

No objection to the proposed final design for streetscape modifications and improvements at the intersection of 2nd and N Streets, NE to create an urban pedestrian plaza, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2012. The design was coordinated with the WMATA, GSA, ATF, and DDoT, and is a part of the adjacent Stonebridge-Constitution Square Development.

No objection to the final design for the proposed temporary full screening facility, with access ramps and walkways, to be located on the southwest lawn of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2012. It is understood that the temporary facility will be removed and the site restored once the larger modernization project that is underway for the Eisenhower Executive Office Building is completed.

No objection to the proposed final design for the first phase of the Introduction Garden Project that includes the rehabilitation of the entrance bridges and the Koi pool surrounding the Administration Building, and the installation of new aquatic gardens in the pool, as shown in materials received and dated 31 August 2012. Project conforms to previously approved concept.

No objection to the final design for the proposed installation of code-compliant safety railings behind the existing noncompliant railings on the 6th-floor terraces of the H. Carl Moultrie I Courthouse, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2012, provided the glass panels in the new railings match the glazing of the remodeled Indiana Avenue entrance.

No objection to the final design for the interior renovation and a new rear stair addition, as shown in materials received and dated 31 August 2012. Project conforms with previously approved concept submission.
