No objection to the issuance of a permit for renovations to three existing rowhouses for use as affordable housing, as shown in materials received and dated 8 May 2015. No objection to the concept for modifications to the main entrance of the Watergate West cooperative building, including replacement storefront and paving materials, new light fixtures, a new planter and signs, and other small modifications, as shown in materials received and dated 8 May 2015. Recommend that the planter be as shown without a plinth in order to more closely resemble the existing site walls. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: This is a concept approval only. When ready, submit the permit drawings and a permit application to DCRA for review by the Commission.
