No objection to the issuance of permit for proposed sidewalk cafe as shown in drawings received and dated 3 June 2005, with exception of the umbrellas. No business names, logos or images of any kind should appear on the umbrellas.

No objection to the issuance of permit for proposed renovations to the C.W. Post Center as shown in drawings received and dated 3 June 2005.

Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for proposed window replacement as shown in drawings received and dated 3 June 2005. Recommend the immediate reversal of the replacement of windows performed without review and permit. Recommend repair and restoration of original windows. Suggest any future proposal for replacement windows replicate the division of glazing existing in the original windows. Applicant is reminded that review and comment by the Commission of Fine Arts is required under federal law prior to start of construction, regardless of historic preservation considerations. File new submission of revised design with permit application for review by the Commission when ready.
