Materials indicate flood wall design, which is intended to protect the facility from a 500-year event, conforms with previously approved design at segment C (CFA 16/JUL/20-h).

No objection to final design for reconstruction of the Sacred Soil Marker, per materials received 4 June 2026. Materials indicate that the original 1929 concrete marker deteriorated beyond repair and was removed in 1938; the new marker will match the old in design and dimensions but be made of limestone, in compliance with current cemetery standards. Scope of work is limited to the basement of the 1950s addition of the historic 1907 heading plant and includes interior architectural and structural modifications, window restoration and select window replacement, and door replacement. Materials indicate proposal is consistent with the AFRH-W Master Plan, which calls for rehabilitation of Building 46.
