Recommendation

No objection to the final design for the renovation of the former McNair Club (Building 60) at Fort McNair from dining/community to classroom use in support of the Inter-American Defense College, as shown in materials received and dated 1 June 2021. Project includes the renovation of the interior and the exterior of the building; rehabilitation of the masonry, roof, fenestration, and site elements; and the installation of a new code-compliant fire stair in the location of the existing egress stair.
