Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for alterations to historic 1880 house as proposed in drawings received and dated 19 June 2006 which indicate removal of historic fabric at basement level. Although there is no objection to the concept of a curb-cut and driveway, parking court and one-story addition for one car garage, the impact to the historic fabric of the house needs further study. File new submission of working drawings, including details and dimensions, for revised design for further review by the Commission when ready.
