Recommendation

No objection to issuance of permit for reconfiguration of driveway, new walkway and for removal of existing concrete driveway as shown in supplemental drawings dated 13 December 2013 which indicate a 12 foot wide pea gravel driveway including an 18 inch wide limestone border. No objection to issuance of Public Space permit for proposed relocation of curb-cut on 31st Street. The Commission strongly recommends that the R Street curb cut and apron be reduced to 12 feet wide to match width of driveway and be paved in brick to match new curb-cut on 31st Street. Note: Any modification of the approved design during the review by DCRA Technical Review or by DDOT must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of the permit or public space permit.
