Recommendation
No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations to Ryan and Mulledy Hall as part of the renovation of the historic buildings, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 16 July 2014 PROVIDED all alterations to roofs including new louvers, access ladders, and vent stacks are located where they will not be visible from the ground plane. All site work, including the ADA ramp over the areaway, the entrance stairs, the re–grading and new landscaped plan for the courtyard are not included in the scope of work under this permit application. File new submission at DCRA of revised concept design for the courtyard and site work for review by the Commission. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be re–submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
