No objection to issuance of permit for proposed alterations per supplemental drawings received 20 July 2016 which indicate retention of historic second floor joists, and rooftop mechanical equipment not visible from a public thoroughfare (per 6 July 2016 mock-up inspection) PROVIDED there are no exposed conduits or cables on exterior walls, and graphics on temporary construction are limited to 12-inch-high letters with name of business and "coming soon." Coordinate with Commission staff during construction to determine extent of historic fabric. Sign is not included in this permit application. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
