Consent Calendar: CFA Meeting — 16 February 2017

No objection to the final design for the replacement pool house and swimming pool for the East Potomac Park Aquatic Center, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2017. Final design conforms to the previously approved concept. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the proposed final design for the installation of eight interpretive exhibit panels on the public side of the perimeter wall of the Washington Navy Yard along M Street, SE, and three panels along the 11th Street wall, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2017. Design conforms to previously approved concept submission for the installation of eight interpretive signs on the perimeter wall along M Street. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the final design for the Ward 7 Short-term Family Housing in a new four-story residential building located at 5004 D Street, SE, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2017. The final plans conform to the previously approved concept design.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of rooftop mechanical equipment and replacement windows for the UDC's College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) demonstration kitchen in the rear wing of the former Bertie Backus Junior High School, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2017. Project conforms to details of previously approved submissions for Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the building renovation project. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to concept design for site work for an outdoor classroom per drawings received 6 February 2017, provided the garden shed and adjacent counter are redesigned to be more integrated with the retaining wall and landscape. File new submission at DCRA for the final review, with detailed and dimensioned drawings for review by the Old Georgetown Board and by the Commission of Fine Arts.
