No objection to the concept design for the installation of guardrails on the north and south retaining walls of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial (also known as the Military Women’s Memorial), per supplemental materials received 13 October 2022. Recommend selection of concept "Style 2/Location 2," which shows black-painted metal picket guardrails installed on the walkway side of the historic hedgerows. Submit detailed and dimensioned drawings for final review by the Commission when ready. Refer to Virginia Department of Historic Resources.
