No objection to the proposed final design for the rehabilitation and renovation of the Renwick Gallery, which includes replacement windows, and new rooftop equipment, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013.

No objection to the installation of one additional wall-mounted exhibition sign panel to match the existing panels on the southwest entrance ramp, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013. The designs conforms to the previously approved sign installation reviewed in July 2009.

No objection to the temporary installation of a sliding gate at the Ord and Weitzel Gate to facilitate the access of vehicular traffic associated with the construction of the Millennium Project at Arlington National Cemetery, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013, provided the sliding gate is removed and the site restored when construction on the Millennium Project is completed.

No objection to the final design for building alterations and additions for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child Development Center, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013. Proposed work includes the addition of a new entryway, a new access ramp and fencing, and a conversion of an existing window into a doorway.

No objection to the final designs for the temporary installation of various commercial communication antennas on the St. Elizabeths West Campus for the Department of Homeland Security, as shown in materials received and dated 4 September 2013. Project conforms with previously approved antenna system. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office.

No objection to the revised final design for the proposed Secure Access Lane Remote Screening Facility adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial on the Pentagon Reservation, as shown in materials received and dated 3 September 2013.

No objection to the final design for the renovation of the Herb Garden at the U.S. National Arboretum, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013. The work will include the removing and replacing wood components on existing benches; removing and replacing brick pavers; modifying the irrigation system; removing the existing shed and replacing with new; removing and replacing trellis, fencing, and gates; enlarging the enclosed fenced work yard; and removing the existing gravel access road and replacing with a new porous paving access road from Meadow Road.

No objection to the final design for the Phase II extension of the Flowering Tree Walk to complete the loop around the main meadow at the U.S. National Arboretum, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013. Details and materials conform to previously approved and installed Phase I of the walk.

No objection to the final design for a new vehicular storage building and operations facility for the U.S. Army Transportation Agency to be located in Fort McNair at the corner of B and Canal Streets, SW, as shown in materials received and dated 6 September 2013.

No objection to the final plans for a pilot project to test the installation of low profile-'Zebra' style-lane separators along two blocks of the existing bicycle lanes in the median of Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd Street and 15th Street to prevent motor vehicles from entering the bicycle lanes, as shown in materials received and dated 23 August 2013.

No objection to the final plans for the renovation of the public plaza at the corner of 5th and F Streets and the installation of the sculpture 'Ashes to Answers' by Austin Weishel at FEMS Engine Company #2 Firehouse as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013.

No objection to the revised selection of a darker accent brick for the exterior walls of the building hyphens on the north facade of the new gymnasium addition to the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School (the former Bruce Public School), as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013. Submission conforms to previously approved final design.

No objection to the final design for the proposed building renovation and addition to the Ruth K. Webb Elementary School at 1375 Mt. Olivet Road, NE, for the KIPP DC Charter Schools, as shown in materials received and dated 23 August and 4 September 2013.

No objection to the final design for the proposed building renovation and freestanding addition to the former John F. Cook Elementary School for the Mundo Verde Public Charter School, as shown in materials received and dated 5 September 2013, with the exception of the replacement windows in the historic building. The treatment of the replacement windows should replicate the original mullion patterns or the existing windows should be retained and repaired were needed. Recommend consultation with the Commission staff and the DC Historic Preservation Office before the next submission for the replacement windows.

No objection to the final plans for the installation of a vegetative green roof and the renovation of the existing rooftop greenhouse on Building 44, on the Van Ness Campus of the University of the District of Columbia, as shown in materials received and dated 16 August 2013.
