No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of three new and three replacement radio head antennas and for the relocation of existing panel antennas for Verizon Wireless on the penthouse of an existing building, as shown in materials received and dated 2 February 2018 and supplemental materials received and dated 6 April 2018 and 19 June 2018, PROVIDED that the antennas and supports be painted to match the color of the penthouse wall, PROVIDED that the relocated antennas be mounted no higher than the existing antennas, and PROVIDED that the relocated antennas on the north and east facades be mounted as tight to the penthouse wall and as far from the northeast corner of the penthouse as possible. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.

Returned without action. Permit application for rooftop cellular antennas, received and dated 6 April 2018, was withdrawn at the written request of the applicant. A new submission will be forwarded for a cellular antenna layout that is coordinated with the previously approved modifications to the penthouse and roof terrace (case number SL 18-109) when ready.

No objection to the concept for a new vestibule in public space at a relocated entrance and for an enclosed sidewalk cafe in public space, as shown in materials received and dated 4 May 2018 and supplemental materials received and dated 8 June 2018, 19 June 2018, and 22 June 2018. Previously proposed canvas canopy extending from the new vestibule removed from scope of work. Note: This is a concept approval only. When ready, submit the permit drawings and a permit application to DCRA for review by the Commission.

No objection to the issuance of a permit for the renovation of and addition to an existing single-family residence to convert it for use as a multi-family residence, including work in public space, as shown in materials received and dated 4 May 2018, pending the receipt and review of exterior material samples. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.

Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of replacement windows in the front facade of an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 8 June 2018, due to insufficient information for review. Forward a new and complete submission, including survey documentation of the existing windows and details showing the configuration and installed condition of the proposed replacement windows, when ready. Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of 32 vinyl-clad replacement windows at an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 8 June 2018. Forward a new and complete submission, including dimensioned detail drawings of the existing windows and the proposed replacement windows, for non-vinyl, non-vinyl-clad windows, when ready. No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of a new 6'-0" high wood fence in the rear and side yards of an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 8 June 2018 and supplemental materials received and dated 13 June 2018, PROVIDED that sufficient tree protection measures be taken with the advice of an arborist for trees on the subject property and the adjacent property.
