No objection to issuance of permit for one proposed wall mounted sign with 12-inch-high lettering reading 'Parking' as shown in supplemental drawings dated 4 April 2011 which indicate pushed-through letters will have opaque faces for a halo-lit effect, PROVIDED no conduit or junction box will be exposed or visible. Internally-illuminated face on the letters was not approved and was deleted from this permit application. A blade sign in this location is not appropriate, was not approved and was deleted from this permit application. All other free-standing signs for this business, which are not appropriate to the historic district, must be removed no later than 30 May 2011. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
