No objection to issuance of permit for proposed pergola at rear yard as shown in supplemental drawings dated 7 February 2013 which indicate structure will be no larger than 8 feet by 13 feet and built of Western red cedar. The use of vinyl is not appropriate and was deleted from this permit application. Wood pergola must be painted or stained (solid) to match color of trim on back of house. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
