Recommendation

No objection to issuance of permit for proposed gutter and downspout replacement, repointing, and related waterproofing work to the north elevation of the Georgetown University Medical and Dental Building, per drawings received 24 August 2017, PROVIDED that mortar analysis is performed prior to the start of work, replacement cast stone balustrade is reviewed prior to the installation, and stainless steel dowels are used for the installation work at the ballustrade. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
