Urban Life

This relief panel in granite by sculptor John Gregory was installed at the Municipal Center (now Judiciary Square) in 1941. The four allegorical figures represent the four institutions of urban life: courts (Maia), hospitals (Aesculapius), business (Mercury), and sanitation (Vesta).
